AGEL Commissions 150 MW Solar Project in Khavda

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has hit a major milestone with the operationalization of a new 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. Executed via its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L), the plant officially commenced power generation on June 28, 2026.

This addition propels AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity to an impressive 19,985.8 MW, alongside an operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 3,366 MWh. The Khavda project further solidifies AGEL's leadership footprint in India’s rapidly growing clean energy sector.
